The company also introduced audio glasses and a hearing feature priced at $149.99, and said it will offer more than 100 styles of AI glasses by year’s end.
Meta said it will bring Muse, its personal AI agent, to its AI glasses in the coming months. The announcement came at the company’s Connect 2026 conference, where it also introduced a pair of VR glasses, new audio glasses and updates to its existing lineup.
By the end of the year, Meta said, it will offer more than 100 styles of AI glasses across its Ray-Ban, Oakley and Meta Glasses brands.
Muse comes to glasses
Meta launched Muse earlier this month, describing it as a personal AI agent that proactively helps users meet their goals. On stage at Connect, CEO Mark Zuckerberg showed new features, connectors and an updated model behind the agent.
On glasses, users will be able to say the agent’s name and have Muse act on what they are looking at, without describing it aloud. Meta said users could ask about a product on a shelf, a flier on a wall or a long list of school supplies.
A new voice mode is designed for longer conversations, and Muse can work in the background while the user is still talking, the company said.
Muse will also get its own email address, which it can use to complete tasks and which users can use to communicate with it.

More connectors
Meta said Muse launched with dozens of partners, including access to Shopify’s full catalog. It is adding these retail partners:
- Walmart
- Best Buy
- American Eagle Outfitters
- Dick’s Sporting Goods
- Fanatics
- Gap
- Michael Kors
- Sephora
- Ulta
- Wayfair
Shop Pay and PayPal will handle payments. Instacart is available for grocery shopping, and Expedia is coming soon for travel planning. For work, Meta is adding Notion, Granola, GitHub and Box. It said more partners are on the way.
A pocket-size device
Meta also announced Muse Charm, a pocket-size device for talking with Muse that uses a real-time voice model. The company said it will share more later this year.
VR in a glasses form
The Meta VR Glasses weigh about 100 grams, roughly the same as a deck of cards, and have no straps, Meta said. The company said the design lets wearers stay aware of their surroundings during immersive experiences.
Meta said the glasses are the first VR device certified as IMAX Enhanced, which will allow viewers to watch select films in IMAX’s expanded aspect ratio at home. Its streaming partners include Prime Video, YouTube, DirecTV, AMC+, Crunchyroll, Plex, ESPN and Tubi. Users will also be able to watch 3D content from Disney+, Peacock, HBO Max and Paramount+.
For live sports, Meta said it has worked with ESPN, MLB, NBC Sports, TNT Sports, UFC and others to offer more than 100 immersive live events a year.
The glasses can also serve as a workspace. Users can turn a flat surface into a keyboard and touchpad, the company said.

New audio glasses and updates
Meta introduced Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses, which it described as its lightest and slimmest AI glasses. They are designed for music, podcasts, calls and hands-free use of an AI assistant while leaving the ears open to ambient sound.
The company also announced Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3), the next generation of its top-selling AI glasses. It has a slimmer design, longer battery life and a customizable action button for quick access to Meta AI.
The expanded collection includes a new Ivory colorway of Meta Glasses by Kylie Jenner and the company’s first collaboration with the singer LISA. Meta also said it is offering its lowest-priced pair of Meta Glasses to date, along with new colorways across styles.
Hearing feature
Meta said it is adding a hearing enhancement feature to supported AI glasses. The software is cleared by the Food and Drug Administration to help adults with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss. Meta said it can be set up at home in minutes, with no clinic visit or prescription.
It will launch in the U.S. later this year for $149.99, or as part of a Meta One subscription, the company said. The purchase is eligible for reimbursement through health savings accounts and flexible spending accounts, though buyers should check their plans.
Meta also added audio controls. An audio balance feature shifts sound toward the left or right ear, and mono audio sends all sound to one side.

Meta Ray-Ban Display expands
Meta announced updates to Meta Ray-Ban Display, including hands-free navigation features, a personalized hologram for video calls and Dolby Atmos capture with spatial surround sound. The glasses will be available through online ordering and will expand to Britain, Canada, France, Italy and Germany.
“With access to Muse, we’re building personal superintelligence into devices that you can take with you wherever you go,” the company said.
