With budgets tight and content demands soaring, a Spanish AI firm is putting real money behind Europe’s creative industry, making the leap.
Magnific, the AI platform for creative teams formerly known as Freepik, has announced a €10 million fund aimed at helping marketing departments, advertising agencies, and in-house creative studios across Europe move beyond AI experimentation and into working production pipelines.
Applications are open now at magnific.com/magnific-fund through June 30. Companies apply via a web form and receive an eligibility decision. The fund primarily targets small and medium-sized businesses across the European Union and the United Kingdom, though organizations outside Europe may apply and will be assessed on an individual basis.
Accepted companies receive a 30 percent discount on the Magnific Business plan for their first 12 months, an equivalent discount on additional credits, and access to a structured training program. That program includes a practical AI Marketing Playbook with real-world use cases and ready-to-use prompts, an on-demand video series, and monthly live webinars. Teams of 30 or more receive personalized onboarding covering brand kit setup, collaborative workspaces, and first-campaign deployment.
The training is built around six production workflows designed to address the volume, speed and localisation pressures facing modern creative teams: generating packaging variants before a physical product exists; localising campaign materials across multiple markets without local agencies; producing product photography without a shoot; animating brand assets from a text brief; scaling a single creative asset into all required formats and audience variations; and producing a television commercial within a week using only internal resources.

Puma, eyewear brand Alain Afflelou, and Carl’s Jr. are among the brands already using Magnific for campaign production, the company said.
“Creative teams are under immense pressure to deliver more content, in more formats, for more markets — all without losing quality or brand control,” said José Florido, chief marketing and design officer at Magnific. “The goal of this fund is to make AI a core part of their actual production line, rather than just a side experiment.”
The announcement follows Freepik’s rebranding to Magnific in April 2026.
