Must read

7Rivers secures $5M from Inoca Capital to scale Snowflake-focused AI and data services, expand GenAI offerings and grow delivery teams.

7Rivers, a technology services firm focused on helping companies extract business value from data and artificial intelligence, said Tuesday that it had raised $5 million in a Series A round led by Inoca Capital Partners, which took a minority stake in the company.

A certified Snowflake Elite Partner, 7Rivers works with enterprises seeking to modernize data infrastructure and deploy AI applications on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. The new capital, the company said, will accelerate its push to help clients become what it calls “Data Native®” and AI-enabled organizations.

“7Rivers’ mission is to help people and organizations unlock their next level of potential through data and AI,” said Paul Stillmank, the company’s founder. He described the future enterprise as one in which human insight and AI systems operate in tandem to drive measurable outcomes. The funding, he said, will support investments in talent, solutions and proprietary accelerators designed to speed transformation.

The company has built its reputation within the Snowflake ecosystem, earning industry competencies across financial services, manufacturing, technology, media and communications, and retail. Its Data Native® framework and Snowflake-aligned accelerators aim to eliminate technical bottlenecks, streamline data pipelines and shorten time to insight.

“Inoca Capital backs companies led by people who embrace change and enable organizational growth,” said Chris Sheffert, managing director at Inoca Capital Partners. He cited 7Rivers’ consulting depth and focus on business outcomes as key factors in the investment.

7Rivers said its differentiators within the Snowflake partner network include Snowflake-certified data engineers and architects, accelerators that reduce time to insight and operational costs, experience implementing Data Vault 2.0 and AI/ML solutions, and custom generative AI applications built to run natively on Snowflake’s platform.

With the new funding, the company plans to expand its Snowflake-focused delivery and product teams, scale generative AI offerings within and beyond the Snowflake Marketplace, invest in industry-specific solution templates and use-case libraries, and grow its sales, marketing and partner enablement operations in existing and new markets.
