Amsterdam-based Silverflow raises $40M in Series B funding to expand its cloud-native card payment processing platform globally.
Silverflow, a cloud-native payment processing company based in Amsterdam, has raised $40 million in Series B funding to expand its platform and accelerate global growth.
The round was led by Picus Capital, with participation from Rabo Investments and existing investors Inkef, Global PayTech Ventures, Crane Venture Partners and Coatue.
Founded to modernize the infrastructure powering card payments, Silverflow offers a cloud-native processing platform that connects directly to card networks via a single application programming interface. The system allows payment service providers, acquiring banks, payment facilitators and merchants to process transactions while accessing real-time data and analytics.
By replacing legacy payment systems with a more flexible architecture, the company aims to simplify the process of building and operating payment services.

“We believe the market is ready to move beyond the limitations of legacy processing systems,” said Anne Willem DeVries, Silverflow’s chief executive and co-founder. “This investment allows us to continue building infrastructure that helps payment companies and commerce platforms innovate and scale more quickly.”
Silverflow said its platform adoption has grown rapidly in recent years. The company’s system has expanded from processing about 180 transactions per day two and a half years ago to nearly 1.75 million daily transactions today.
Its customers include acquiring banks, payment companies and high-growth commerce platforms operating across Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region.
The new funding will be used to support product development, international expansion and hiring. Silverflow plans to grow its workforce by more than 50 percent, increasing its team to roughly 120 employees.
