Helsinki’s CHAOS secures €2M to scale its AI-powered location intelligence platform, helping real estate teams make smarter, human-centric decisions.
CHAOS, a data-intelligence company based in Helsinki that focuses on the real estate sector, has raised €2 million in a new funding round.
The investment included participation from the Swedish investment company Nidoco and the state-owned Finnish financing institution, Finnvera.
Using AI for Location Strategy
Founded in 2017, CHAOS aims to modernize the real estate industry by using advanced location intelligence and AI-driven insights. The company’s platform aggregates and interprets diverse, fragmented data sources—including neighborhood growth patterns, population movements, local business performance, and community service needs.
This consolidated information is then translated into actionable insights for a variety of professionals, including developers, investors, urban planners, and retailers, to inform decisions on where to invest, what types of projects to undertake, and how to support community development.
The platform’s AI capabilities help users navigate complex datasets, compare neighborhoods, and access localized insights on demographics and assets. Crucially, the system goes beyond simple data summaries by delivering AI-generated recommendations across the entire asset lifecycle, from initial investment strategy through property management and divestment.
“By providing better access to understandable data and actionable insights, our platform empowers the real estate industry to make more profitable and human-centric decisions,” said Natalia Rincón-Eriksson, CEO and co-founder of CHAOS.
The platform is designed for ease of use, offering unified location analytics and dashboards with forecasting and simulation tools.

Expansion Plans
The new capital will be allocated to two primary goals: expansion across the Nordic and DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) regions and further development of the company’s A.I.-driven solutions for its core customer base of investors, developers, and retailers.
