Qoro Quantum Raises $750K for Hybrid Computing Software

London-based startup secures pre-seed backing to simplify the integration of classical and quantum computing systems.

London-based Qoro Quantum has raised $750,000 in a pre-seed funding round to develop software infrastructure for hybrid quantum-classical computing. Backers include Ada Ventures, Superangels Venture Fund, and the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Founded in 2024, the deep-tech startup is building software infrastructure for distributed quantum computing. Its platform provides a unified orchestration layer that connects classical systems — such as CPUs and GPUs — with emerging quantum processors, allowing hybrid applications to run across heterogeneous environments.

As the industry works toward fully functional quantum computers, enterprises are already combining classical processors with early-stage quantum hardware to tackle complex challenges. But integrating these systems remains resource-intensive, often requiring specialized expertise, significant time, and extensive custom code. Qoro’s software stack aims to reduce that complexity, enabling diverse computing systems to operate as a unified environment.

“While the broader industry is racing to build physical quantum hardware, we are focused on the immediate software bottleneck required to actually use those machines,” said Dan Holme, CEO of Qoro Quantum.

The company’s platform includes a network stack and cloud-based control system that automates the execution of quantum algorithms, manages resource allocation, and synchronizes multi-vendor computing clusters. By abstracting hardware complexity, it allows applications to be built once and deployed across high-performance computing and quantum environments.

The funding will support further development of its hybrid software layer, key engineering hires, grant co-funding, and an accelerated product rollout ahead of its next funding round.
