Omnidocs acquires Swiss document automation firm officeatwork, strengthening its push across DACH, Benelux, and regulated industries.
Omnidocs, a provider of document generation and automation software for regulated industries, has acquired officeatwork, a Switzerland-based company known for its Microsoft 365–integrated document productivity tools.
The acquisition strengthens Omnidocs’ presence in continental Europe and deepens its capabilities across sectors where compliance, consistency, and document accuracy are critical, including public services, financial institutions, and legal firms. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1975, officeatwork has built a long-standing position in the Swiss market, offering tools that help organizations streamline document creation, manage content centrally, and maintain consistent branding across proposals, contracts, presentations, and email communications. The company serves more than 500 customers and has expanded its international footprint in recent years, with growing revenues from Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States.

For Omnidocs, the deal represents a strategic extension of its buy-and-build strategy following its partnership with Main Capital Partners. It is the company’s fourth add-on acquisition since that partnership began, reinforcing Omnidocs’ ambitions to create a pan-European platform for document creation and automation.
Omnidocs already holds a strong position in Denmark and continues to expand across the Nordic region. That growth has been complemented by acquisitions in the Benelux, including Xential, and in the United Kingdom through Presentation Solutions. Adding officeatwork strengthens the group’s reach in the DACH region and adds a mature customer base with deep domain expertise.
Martin Seifert, founder of officeatwork, said the transaction opens a new phase for the company. “Our shared vision for innovation and customer-centric solutions will allow us to accelerate growth and deliver even greater value to our clients across Europe and beyond,” he said.

Jeppe Schytte-Hansen, chief executive and co-founder of Omnidocs, described the acquisition as a catalyst for expansion in Central Europe. He said the integration of teams and products is expected to begin in early 2026, with a focus on combining technical capabilities and market expertise.
From an investor perspective, the deal underscores the momentum behind consolidation in enterprise document automation, as vendors seek scale, geographic reach, and tighter integration with dominant productivity platforms.
“The addition of officeatwork reflects Omnidocs’ disciplined buy-and-build strategy,” said Wessel Ploegmakers, partner and head of Nordics at Main Capital Partners. “It brings a high-quality product, a loyal customer base, and a strong presence in the DACH region as Omnidocs continues to build an internationally leading platform.”
The transaction positions Omnidocs to compete more aggressively in a market where document workflows are increasingly treated as mission-critical infrastructure rather than back-office tools.
